In a recent interview with EWAmerican Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy has been hinting at what we can expect to see in the fourth season of the show.

Murphy said, “It’s set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited.”

1950s and German accents? What possibly could that be? Literally anything! Could it the start of the Korean War? The German scientists that were linked to the Del Rio UFO incident? The creation of the Hydrogen bomb?

Expect more on this as it becomes available.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the review of Coven‘s mid-season break here.
