With Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel set for 17th July, 2015, there’s now news that the movie has been pushed back to 2016 – in fact, the exact date is 6th May, 2016.
The official word for the move is that it will give “the filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story. The decision was made following the shift of the start of production to second quarter of this year.”
The Man of Steel sequel was initially due to start production in February, but apparently not now. There’s also word that Ben Affleck, the film’s Batman, has a leg injury which will hinder him for a few months. Whether this has had any bearing on Warner Brothers’ decision is not known at this point.
