Remember towards the end of last year when Make-A-Wish turned San Francisco into Gotham City for 5-year-old Miles Scott? Miles got to dress up as Batkid, accompanying Batman as he took down the bad guys, rode in the batmobile saved the city and grabbed a burger. For that little dude, it must’ve have been so, so, so cool. Well, an extensive video has made its way online to give a comprehensive look at Batkid and his day.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation do so much for so many kids, and I really can’t speak highly enough about the organisation. The basic aim is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses, looking to bring some cheer into their lives during some horrible times. The organisation have now got to a point where they grant a wish in the US every 38 minutes! That is simply phenomenal.
