Speaking to Sky Movies, the legendary Gary Oldman has revealed that he’s had talks to join J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII.
Oldman said, “They’ve called, yeah. I’m more cynical about it now, I believe it when I’m on the plane home. You know, the deal isn’t done until then. But yeah, they’ve inquired.”
It appears that pretty much anyone who is anyone has had some form of talks to join Abrams’ foray to a galaxy far, far away. Most recently, Breaking Bad‘s Jesse Plemons and Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch have been a couple of the names highly-rumoured to be involved in the saga.
Episode VII is set to see the returns of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and Harrison Ford as Han Solo. The start of a new Star Wars trilogy, the flick is currently set to hit on 18th December, 2015.
