So long ago, certain place, certain time…
*UPDATE – Yeesh! The vid’s only been up for 90 minutes and it’s already been pulled by 20th Century Fox, so I’ve had to replace the initial video with one that’s not quite of the quality I’d like. Still, you get the gist.
This week’s Video of the Week showcases the opening scene to the finale of American Horror Story: Coven, titled The Seven Wonders. Whilst the show’s Seven Wonders is a extreme test of powers, being a big Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks fan means that the term Seven Wonders instantly turns my brain towards the Seven Wonders song by the Mac from back in the day. For those of you who read my weekly Coven reviews, you’ll know I absolutely adored Lily Rabe’s Misty Day character and the way that her character was obsessed with Stevie. You’ll also be aware of how excited I was to see Stevie appear in the episode dubbed The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks, where she even performed some brilliantly poignant versions of Rhiannon and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You. To make things even cooler, totally by surprise, the show’s finale gave us a Stevie-centric opening.
So, this week’s segment brings that particular opening.
I’m sure that any Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks fans out there will have dug the hell out of that. And if you didn’t, I’d say that you need some more Fleetwood Mac in your life.
