Jeff Goldblum Back for “Independence Day 2” – No “Jurassic World”

Speaking to The Huffington Post whilst promiting The Grand Budapest Hotel, Jeff Goldblum confirmed that he will indeed be returning, as reported previously, for Independence Day 2, although he also revealed that he hasn’t had a call to appear in Jurassic World as Ian Malcolm, last seen back in Jurassic Park II.

On returning as David Levinson in Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day 2, Goldblum said, “Yeah, they’ve talked to me about it and I’ve talked to them about it and they’re excited and I’m anxious and eager to see – I haven’t read anything – what they cook up. You know, I think they’re trying to put it together.”

Independence Day 2 is currently targeting a 1st July, 2016 release, with Bill Pullman also confirmed to return.
