Fourth Season of “American Horror Story” to Feature a Carnival

A few months back, a fourth season of FX’s American Horror Story was confirmed. All that was known at the time was that the season would be set in the 1950s and that Jessica Lange was perfecting a German accent. Well, it’s now been confirmed that the season will have a carnival setting. Writer Douglas Petrie confirmed the news to the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast.

Petrie initially said, “We just started Season 4.” When pressed on whether the carnival rumours are true, he revealed, “Yes. It does not have a title. That’s the idea, very roughly that’s the idea.”

Personally, I’m hoping for some kind of twisted carnival in the spirit of Captain Spalding in Rob Zombie’s House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.

Expect more on this as this it develops.
