Omar Sy, soon to be seen as Bishop in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, is the latest name to be added to Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World. The actor took to Twitter to confirm the news.
This Tweet was followed up by director Trevorrow taking to Twitter himself to welcome the French actor on board in Sy’s native tongue. Trevorrow said, “Très heureux d’accueillir @OmarSy dans Jurassic World.@JurassicParkFR“
Sy is no slouch when it comes to acting chops, having won a Cesar Award for his turn in The Intouchables. He joins a cast that already includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and BD Wong.
Directed by Trevorrow and produced by Steven Spielberg, Jurassic World is currently scheduled for a 12th June, 2015 release.
