With Alan Taylor speeding ahead with Terminator: Genesis, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been speaking to MTV to reveal some initial plots details.
The Governator said, “Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800, and then there is what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie.”
Arnold then addressed concerns that this upcoming T-800 will look older than he was in Jim Cameron’s 1984 movie, especially since Das Arnold in 30 years older. He said, “The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath. It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”
As well as Schwarzenegger, the movie will star Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese and J.K. Simmons.
Directed by Alan Taylor, Terminator: Genesis is currently set for a 1st July, 2015.
