After the trailer dropped last week, now Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has added Jackass‘ Johnny Knoxville and Monk‘s Tony Shalhoub. In some surprising news, the pair will be voicing Leonardo and Master Splinter, respectively. I say surprisingly, as it was presumed that the actors doing mo-cap for the Turtles would be doing the voicing, too. Leonardo is being performed by Pete Ploszek, whilst Danny Woodburn is performing Splinter.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay (shudder), the film also features Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, and William Fichtner as Shredder.
In case you missed, here’s the trailer for the film:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is released on 8th August.
