Yeesh, firstly, sorry about the lack of posts over the last week or more. Due to a mixture of things, ranging from pesky online setting, to MRIs and brain scans (that was fun), I’ve had limited access to the wonderful online world. That’s why you’ve mainly seen reviews over the last little while. Anyways, back to it, and back to it with some news on a completely unwarranted sequel.
As the title suggests, there is going to be an I Spit on Your Grave 3. This follows on from 2010’s I Spit on Your Grave remake and last year’s absolutely awful sequel. Apparently 2013’s rape and revenge effort did well enough on home release for CineTel to go into production on this third film.
In regards to specifics, the story “will focus on a serial killer that uses a crisis hotline to target rapists. One of the counsellors has a dark past, which sends detectives sniffing in her direction – but is she the killer they’re looking for?”
The outlet is still looking for a writer and director, although there’s a good chance that Steven R. Monroe, who helmed the last two instalments, will return for this latest effort.
Expect more on this as it develops.
