Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained is a movie that’s loved by most. So, that means a lot of folks will be happy if QT gets his way…
Speaking to Deadline, Tarantino revealed, “I have about 90 minutes of Django that hasn’t been seen. So the idea is to cut together a four-hour version, but not show it like a four-hour movie. Fans would be dying to watch all four episodes in one go.”
Given how QT always has a plate brimming with projects and potential projects, it’s far from a given that Django will be getting extended for TV. Still, if the quality is as good as the original movie, it’d be pretty awesome if it was to happen. His apparent plan is to split the extended movie into four one hour-long episodes, making it a miniseries of sorts.
Expect more on this as it develops.
