“Batman V Superman” Brings First Look at the Man of Steel

Yes, we’ve seen Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, but now comes the first official look at Superman from Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

As well as this image being released, Snyder has also been speaking to USA Today about the movie. For those worried that the presence of the likes of Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman could make the film too crammed, the director claimed that these additions will make the movie “thicker, denser and more epic.” This will then reportedly benefit 2017’s Justice League.

Other snippets to come out of Snyder’s chatter include his thoughts on the older, grizzled Batman (“It’s cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys”), why the movie’s title has a V rather than a VS (“To keep it from being a straight versus movie, even in the most subtle way”), and how he’s not yet shot a scene with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman (“She’s working out and getting buff and ripped.”)

So, ‘thicker, denser and more epic’ or just crammed, convoluted and congested?

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently set for a global release on 6th May, 2016.

  1. “So, ‘thicker, denser and more epic’ or just crammed, convoluted and congested?” Hahaha you might be right but that picture of Superman looks so cool it’s hard to imagine the film not working. Fingers crossed.

  2. Superman never worked well on his own because no one knows how to do his story right. Hopefully, working with others, the story of Superman will be better.
