Latino Review is reporting that Marvel Studios and Disney have brought in Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer to work on the script for Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man. The pair will be working on the revisions that were recently made to the screenplay by Adam McKay.
Now in terms of specifics, Ferrari and Barrer will be mainly used as production writers, which means they’ll be on the film’s sets and making production revisions as and when needed. Depending on how things pan out, they may end up with a screen credit still. What got them the gig was the draft of Sabrina the Teenage Witch that they did for Sony.
Starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and unconfirmed roles for Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Patrick Wilson and David Dastmalchian, Ant-Man is on track for a 17th July, 2015 UK release.
