With Disney moving ahead with a part-live-action/part-animated The Jungle Book, now comes word that the Jon Favreau’s directing redo has found its Mowgli. Taking on the lead role will be 10-year-old Neel Sethi.

On the decision, Favreau said, “Casting is the most important element of any film and finding the right kid to play Mowgli was imperative. Neel has tremendous talent and charisma. There is a lot riding on his little shoulders and I’m confident he can handle it.”

Young Sethi will apparently be the only actual human on show in the movie, with Scarlett Johansson on board to voice Kaa, Lupita Nyongo’o to voice Rakcha, Ben Kingsley to voice Bagheera, and Idris Elba to voice Shere Khan.

The Jungle Book is set for a 9th October, 2015 release.
