Huge “Star Wars: Episode VII” Plot Rumours

Treat all of this as purely rumour for now, but it’s all pretty interesting if true…

Badass Digest is claiming to have the inside scoop on various Star Wars: Episode VII news. Firstly, the film is said to be opening with a shot of Luke Skywalkere’s severed hand, complete with lightsaber. Yes, that same hand that was lopped off by Darth Vader during the climax of The Empire Strikes Back. From there, the hand lands on a desert planet, which is said to NOT be Tatooine, and is found by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley’s characters. The two then going on a mission to find Han Solo and Chewbacca in order to try and find Luke… a Luke that Han claims not to have seen for nearly 30 years. Even more interesting, Boyega is said to be playing a Stormtrooper who ends up deserting his post for the aforementioned mission. Oh, and the film will feature a new Death Star-type weapon (yes, another one) that has its sights set firmly on destroying the entire universe.

As mentioned, treat all of this as strictly rumour for now.

With a cast that includes Boyega, Ridley, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christine, Christina Chong, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: Episode VII is currently set for an 18th December, 2015 release.

  1. I don’t believe it. It sounds very contrived – and besides, a hand would just burn up in the atmosphere. Also, I feel like Han would be saying “dude! We’re getting the band back together!”

If they do this, I’ll (probably) never watch another Disney Star Wars again!
