New Look at Ben Affleck’s Batman

Comic-Con has brought a look at Batman’s cape and cowl, but now Warner Brothers have revealed another look at Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader from his upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Ben Affleck Batman

As someone who’s is massively digging the whole Batfleck thing, I’m most definitely cool with this. The inclusion of a ridiculous amount of heroes and villains in Dawn of Justice, yeah, I’m not so much digging that bit.

Starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and unconfirmed roles for Scott McNairy, Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently set for a 6th May, 2016 release. And those villains I talked about, the film will supposedly feature secondary roles for Amanda Waller, David Cain, Morgan Edge and Mr. Zsasz, plus those Doomsday rumours are still floating about.

  1. Yep, definitely cramming waaaaaaay too much into this movie… I fear another SM3… but probably even more crammed? Hmmmmm… they should have just accurately set up for a Justice League movie!

    • They’ve just seen the Marvel/Disney dynamic and plan and rushed straight for the endgame, rather than taking time to establish these characters on their own, in their own movies, then bring those universes together. That said, there’s only really Batman and Superman that are characters who could own their movie in terms of bringing in casual fans at this stage. But that’s where you start with a really good Superman movie or a really good Batman movie, with maybe a tease, post-credits or something, of this Wonder Woman chick or this Flash guy, then that piques a little bit of interest in these new characters and the world that is being developed. Ah, I dunno, it gives me a headache when I think about this movie!
