For some reason, I’d almost forgotten about this movie. Almost. But regardless, the trailer has just dropped for WWE Films’ See No Evil 2. You know the drill with these flicks by now – marauding killer, group of young victims, a big pile of bodies. Yes, it’ll be formulaic, but it doesn’t look completely horrible (not like Leprechaun: Origins).
The official word on the sequel to 2006’s See No Evil reads:
“See No Evil 2 revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.”
Directed by the talented Soska sisters, Jen and Sylvia, the film features WWE’s Kane, genre vet Danielle Harris, Ginger Snaps‘ Katharine Isabelle, Bates Motel‘s Michael Eklund, and Chelan Simmons, Kaj-Erik Eriksen, Lee Majdoub, and Greyston Holt.
See No Evil 2 goes straight to home release later this year, presumably in time for Halloween.
