Yes, there’s certainly some sort of snigger-inducing innuendo in the title, but it’s factual true. At San Diego Comic-Con (where else?), Marvel Studios and Disney have displayed Ant-Man’s helmet for all to see.
The initial blurb floating around for the film reads:
“Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind the spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.”
As well as Rudd and Douglas, the movie also features Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and David Dastmalchian, with more cast members expected to be added shortly.
Despite the recent director debacle, Ant-Man is still scheduled for a 17th July, 2015 release.
