The first trailer has arrived for George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road. Definitely looks promising…
The official synopsis reads:
“The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert land where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max (Tom Hardy), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos, and Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.”
As well as Hardy and Theron, Fury Road will also feature Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rose Huntington-Whitely. The film is currently set for a 15th march, 2015 release.

I’m very excited to see Hardy take on this role. I think he’s become, or has become, one of the most versatile male actors in Hollywood.

Great actor. I was a little concerned with what this new Mad Max film may end up as, but this trailer’s certainly ticked some of the right boxes for me.
