Coming at you from a beach in a galaxy far, far away, we have a rather bizarre, yet utterly fantastic, collection of images from a 1983 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. The subject matter in question is Star Wars, and for a special feature on the Holy Trilogy we got these fantastic images, including an interview with Carrie Fisher. Sadly, I can’t seem to find the interview with George Lucas that was published in the issue. Yes, this is old news – very, very old news – but I’ve only recently come across it. And man, Carrie Fisher is absolutely stunning.
Rather fantastic, I’m sure you’ll agree. Granted, some of it may be a tad worrying, such as why is Darth Vader holding his daughter so intently, a daughter that he never knew he had at that point. Maybe he’s trying to make up for all that neglected childhood stuff. Even still, going to the beach in the full on ‘Darth’ outfit likely isn’t the best idea. I guess, maybe underneath the suit, he’s one of those ginger-haired people who burn rather easily.
Either way, I hope you got as much entertainment out of this find as I did. Likely not 😉
Also, massive props have to go to Tony (top, top dude) who gave me the heads up on this shit. Good work, sir.
This is awesome.
